Job Roles in Demand

Vineyards are currently recruiting for energetic personnel to handle the following duties:

  • Manual Grape Harvesting: Carefully picking, cutting, and sorting mature wine grapes.
  • Field Transportation: Carrying and loading grape crates onto collection vehicles.
  • Processing Support: Operating basic grape crushing and de-stemming machinery.
  • Vineyard Maintenance: General field support and clearing of harvest paths.

Work Locations: The Moselle Valley

Placements are concentrated along the scenic Luxembourgish side of the Moselle River, with active hiring in:

  • Grevenmacher and surrounding estates
  • Remich viticulture zones
  • Wormeldange processing cellars

Permit Structure: Short-Term Seasonal Framework

Employment conforms strictly with Luxembourgish labor standards and seasonal immigration policies:

  • Contract Duration: Short-term deployment strictly from September to October 2026.
  • Eligibility: Open to both EU and non-EU applicants. Non-EU workers receive dedicated seasonal work authorization support via employer sponsorship.
  • Accommodation: Fully arranged and guaranteed by the sponsoring vineyard prior to your arrival.

Candidate Profile

  • Minimum Age: 18 years.
  • Physical Fitness: High stamina required; ability to work outdoors on sloped terrains and lift loads up to 15kg.
  • Language: Basic English, French, or German is preferred but not strictly mandatory.
  • Experience: No prior experience required; comprehensive on-site orientation is provided.

  • Compensation: Competitive hourly minimum gross wage as per Luxembourg national directives.
  • Insurance: Full legal accident and health insurance coverage included for the contract duration.
  • Work Environment: Dynamic outdoor team environment in world-renowned valley landscapes.
