Mitsubishi Motors has officially announced the European launch of its new Eclipse Cross battery electric vehicle. The SUV is hitting showrooms before the end of 2025. The compact SUV, produced at Renault’s ElectriCity Douai Plant in France, marks Mitsubishi’s renewed push into the 100% electric vehicle segment after more than 15 years.

The Eclipse Cross BEV, built on the CMF-EV platform, follows the company’s earlier electrified models, including the Outlander plug-in hybrid and the Grandis hybrid. Designed exclusively as an electric vehicle.
The model combines Mitsubishi’s signature Dynamic Shield front design with advanced safety features and a Google integrated infotainment system, offering up to 600 kilometers of driving range on a single full charge.
