Pakistani workers looking for legal jobs in Italy must act before fixed February 2026 deadlines under the Decreto Flussi, Italy’s official work visa quota system. Applications are limited and once quotas are filled, no more Italy work permits can be issued for the year.
Italy will admit about 164,850 non EU workers in 2026 across seasonal and non seasonal sectors. Jobs are open in agriculture, tourism, construction, factories, logistics, retail and care services. Pakistan is included in the main quota for employed work, making Italy jobs for Pakistani accessible through employer sponsorship.
February deadlines under Decreto Flussi that Pakistanis must follow
Workers cannot apply directly for most jobs. Italian employers must submit online requests on strict click days and these often close within hours.
For 2026, the main February dates are now confirmed.
- 9 February 2026 is for seasonal tourism jobs in hotels and resorts.
- 16 February 2026 is for non seasonal employed work in factories, transport, construction and services.
- 18 February 2026 is for domestic and family care jobs.
Seasonal farm jobs open earlier on 12 January 2026, but most Italy work visa options for Pakistani citizens fall in February under the decreto flussi.
Once an employer receives approval, the worker applies for an Italy work visa at the embassy and must enter Italy within six months to obtain a residence permit. Without this approval, no visa can be granted.
For Pakistani job seekers, the process is simple. Secure an employer early, prepare documents in advance and make sure your case is filed before these February dates. Under Decreto Flussi, late applications are not accepted.
