The First Secretary of the Italian Embassy in Pakistan while addressing the Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry has announced that visa services for Italy have been started from Lahore. Similarly these services will be started from other cities of Pakistan soon.
Mentioning the mutual relations between Italy and Pakistan, he said that the two countries have the potential to increase the volume of their mutual trade to 5 billion dollars. He invited the business community to come forward and participate in the upcoming expos. In this way, opportunities are provided to increase the brother-to-brother relationship. He also emphasized the need for political cooperation and Memorandum of Understanding for mutual benefit.
President of Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry appreciated these initiatives of Italy and said that Italy is the best trade partner of Pakistan and ranks eighth in our trade. The First Secretary of Italy appreciated the meeting held with the Board of Investment of Pakistan.
