Responsibilities

• Must be physically strong and able to handle confrontations
• Ability to de-escalate tense situations without violence
• Ability to work with other staff to maintain a safe environment

Tasks

• Verify age to ensure legal drinking age
• Manage who enters the bar, ensuring it’s not overcrowded
• Monitor the bar for safety and potential issues
• Calmly manage fights or disturbances
• Ensure guests follow the bar’s policies and local laws
• Help in fire, medical or other emergencies.
