Overview

We are looking for experienced Farm Supervisors to oversee and manage daily farm operations for our client’s Farms in Finland. As a Farm Supervisor, you will play a key role in ensuring that farm activities run smoothly, from planting to harvest. You will manage a team of farm workers, oversee machinery use and maintain the farm’s productivity.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and manage daily farm activities, including planting, harvesting and caring for crops.
  • Coordinate and oversee a team of farm workers to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and safely.
  • Ensure the proper use and maintenance of farm equipment and machinery.
  • Monitor crop health and take corrective actions when necessary (e.g., pest control, irrigation).
  • Maintain detailed records of farm activities, including crop yields, labor hours, and equipment usage.
  • Ensure all safety standards are met and provide training for farm workers on safe work practices.
  • Manage inventory, including seeds, fertilizers and tools.
  • Troubleshoot any issues related to farm operations and implement solutions.
  • Communicate with farm owners or managers about farm performance and needs.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in farm management or a supervisory role in agriculture.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
  • Knowledge of farm machinery and equipment.
  • Excellent problem solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Basic knowledge of crop production, pest control, and farm safety procedures.
  • Basic proficiency in English – additional language skills are a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Pay: €2,200–€3,000 per month (based on experience and farm size).
