Position Details
Job Title: Fruit Picking – Packing and Harvesting Work
Type: Temporary (Seasonal)
Locations:
- Istria & Dalmatia – Vineyards, olive groves and citrus orchards
- Slavonia – Grain and corn fields
- Northern Croatia – Fruit orchards (apples, pears, plums)
- Neretva Valley – Citrus groves (mandarins, oranges)
- Coastal Regions – Olive and grape farms
Duration: July to December 2025 (flexible 3 to 6-months contracts)
Openings: 650 positions available
Your Role
As a seasonal farm worker, you will:
- Harvesting late-season fruits (grapes, olives, apples, citrus)
- Fruit picking and packing
- Vineyard work, including grape picking, pruning, and sorting
- Olive picking and processing for oil production
- Greenhouse tasks – planting, watering, and crop maintenance
- Preparing and packaging fresh produce for export
- Cleaning and maintaining fields and greenhouses
- Packing different types of products
Who We’re Looking For
- No prior farming experience required. Ideal candidates:
- Enjoy physical work and being outdoors
- Are reliable, hardworking, and quick to learn
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old (valid passport or national ID required)
- Basic English (Croatian is a plus but not necessary)
- Physically fit for outdoor work
- Non-EU nationals can apply – most employers provide full support for seasonal work permits
