Responsibilities / Requirements
- Fluency in Hindi Language is must
Tasks
- Prepare ingredients and cook a variety of Indian dishes, including curries, breads and desserts
- Follow traditional recipes and may create new dishes to enhance the menu
- Veg and Non-Veg cooking
- Ensure dishes are presented attractively and meet restaurant standards
- Monitor stock levels of ingredients and place orders as needed to maintain supplies
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, adhering to food safety and hygiene standards
- Work closely with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal service
- Occasionally interact with customers to understand their preferences or receive feedback
- Train kitchen assistants or new cooks on Indian cooking techniques and kitchen practices
