Responsibilities

Tasks

• Plan or adjust routes based on changing conditions
• Using GPS equipment, or other navigation devices
• Coach colleagues on new methods or work techniques
• Professionalism in customer service
• Load and unload goods
• Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment
• Perform inspection of vehicle
• Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption
